How to increase forum activity?

At the moment, it is very empty. There are a grand total of four of us.
So, the first step is advertisement. We need to let people know the forum is open to everybody even remotely interested in the eCaribbean.

We're off to a good start with the multi-lingual message on the forum and in my newspaper, but I only have a few subscribers.
The more the link is passed around, the better our chances of being found are.
Newspapers, forums, shouts and the occassional eRep ad. will do the trick.

If we manage to get a few bilingual people on the forum to be moderators, then our options open up considerably.
Remember, English isn't the only language in the Caribbean.
I've let the Dominican Republic (DR) camp know we're up and running.
I'm hoping one or two of them will come check us out and begin some inter-island communication. It would be absolutely fantastic to see the DR and Jamaican camps helping each other out. And even more awesome if any others joined in too.

I guess not many folks are interested in the eCaribbean.
I suppose our first country or countries have a glorious future ahead being PTO's by the big guns.

Eventually I will move it forward one way or another.
